A connected clinic: patients book a slot online, receive prescriptions and lab reports digitally, and open their records securely, while the clinic's staff spend less time on paperwork.
The challenge
Appointments, prescriptions and lab reports were recorded and handed over by hand. Patients couldn't plan their visits in advance, paper records could be lost or damaged, and getting a report back meant asking for it in person.
What we did
- Mapped the clinic's paper process, from the booking desk to the lab report, before designing any screen.
- Built online booking, where patients see available doctors and are told if a doctor's availability changes.
- Moved prescriptions to digital, so patients open them at any time without a paper copy.
- Added lab reports that are uploaded once ready, for patients to view and download.
- Protected every record: encrypted when stored, and opened only after the patient verifies their identity.

Doctors issue prescriptions digitally, and patients can open them at any time, with no paper copy needed.
Lab reports
Reports are uploaded once they're ready, and patients can view and download them online.
Verified, encrypted access
Records are encrypted when stored, and open only after the patient confirms their last name and registered phone number.
