A booking app with a live queue for a diagnostic centre. Patients book a time that fits their fasting test, then watch their token number move from home, so the waiting room never overflows and nobody has to ask "how long?" at the counter.
The challenge
Patients arrive at the same time every morning, wait without knowing how long, and crowd the front desk with the same question.
What we'd build
- Designed slot booking that fits around fasting tests and doctor timings.
- Built a live queue screen and an SMS/WhatsApp update when a patient is next.
- Gave the front desk one view of today's bookings and walk-ins.
Test-aware booking
Slots respect fasting requirements and sample-collection hours, so patients never book an impossible time.
Live token tracking
Patients see 'You are 4th in line' on their phone and leave home at the right moment.
Next-in-line alerts
An automatic WhatsApp message when the patient is two tokens away.
Counter display
A TV screen in the waiting area shows the current token for each counter.
